I'd love to know the truth behind all the changes one day. I doubt we'd ever hear it, but I just do not think it was all about the $$$. If I worked at XM, I doubt I'd trust anyone because I feel like some back room dealing (or back stabbing) went on to create some of the changes. The remainder of changes I think was just the new Sirius execs trying to get their friends on board. Either way, they blew it! They screwed up a great channel.

While my listening is seldom now, in about 22 days my free extension with XM is over. Best thing about the few years it was on, I created some great online friendships. Even the Sirius execs can't take those away.

It's a shame David. I have suggested shock therapy and hypnosis to help kick the "yeah sure is" habit. Obviously they didn't respond.

Billy filled in for The Buckaroo today. So far, it is much more enjoyable.

Desperate for listeners and callers, Baseball This Morning Lite will hold a week long trivia contest. The prize is a trip and tickets to the World Series. I say we get our savvy members to call in and claim the prize. Rosie, Bruce, David, The Professor, Robin, Mary and Cows would represent us well. Before stock went up to .65, Mark couldn't get them to fund hats.

Gee, EVERYONE except for me has made it on to the "savvy members" list. Ha, why am I not surprised. ::) Ho hum, such is life. LOL... I have learned to turn the other cheek and it has made me be a better person for it. :)

It was indeed an intentional omission with no malice. I carelessly included The Professor. I figured you might have to be a subscriber to play. I apologize for my mistake.

Well, I'm still a subscriber, but no longer a listener. Maybe if Ron and Pat had a contest.

Same here. I'm still a subscriber, but a very infrequent listener. I very occasionally catch the last hour of BBTM. Some of the rants are pretty funny, but for the most part, any humor on the show seems forced.

Cheers,

Rosie

They may have discontinued rants. My guess is they could not muster callers hence the contest.

The aforementioned contest will start Monday. Contestants answering four trivia questions correctly will face off on Friday for the grand prize. The runner up will win tickets to a league championship game. They are urging callers savvy or not to join them at 8:00 AM on Monday. *

Trivia question #1

Q - What company destroyed 3 years worth of programming and a loyal following with 3 hours of discussion?

A - Sirius

Trivia Question #2

Q -What company has no quality control of it's programming or clue to what the listeners really want to hear?

A - The new XM-Sirius

Something tells me my questions would not make it to air.

What is the single program record for"sure is?"

In the 1927 world Series, who sat in section 106, row 22 seat C?

How many hot dogs were sold inside the parks during the 1955 World series?

The Buckaroo spiced it up this week. He started using, "boy it sure is."
Anyone have any ideas on how they will attract listeners after the World Series contest? For a week, starting Monday, at 8:00 AM, they will surely have callers.
