Drew got in one inning of work walking one batter, allowing no hits or runs as The Desert Dogs won easily over Mesa.

Drew picked up his 4th save as he wrapped up his Arizona Fall League Regular Season with a league best 0.66 ERA. A great story.

Drew didn't get in the game, and the Desert Dogs lost 5-4, but it was nice to see live baseball again, if you're having withdrawal.

No Indians prospects on these 2 teams but some good looking Baltimore guys. (And ChiSox. And did I hear that Omar Vizquel is about to sign with the ChiSox. 8-))

And they ought to bottle the sound of that go-ahead homerun!

Do you think that Drew will make the Nationals next spring?

I thought with a good spring that he had a shot. Maybe he still does, but the sigining of Matt Capps means that he may start the year at AAA. I think Capps is more of an insurance policy in case Drew is not as ready as they want.

We have to keep in mind that he was just pitching college ball this past spring/summer. Making the team would be great, but more experience in the minors can't hurt.

The arbitration clock rules. You would have to think that The Nationals have some pieces for trading deadline with Capps and Everyday Eddie.

The guys on MLBNetwork had him rated in the 40-50 line of their top 50 prospects and the general consensus was that he will be pitching in the bigs sometime this summer.

Does anyone think Drew can make the team out of spring training?
