Drew pitched on 11-2 in a Phoenix win by Stephen Strasburg.

Also, Drew was picked to represent the East division in the AFL's "Rising Star Showcase" game on Saturday. It's the AFL's all-star game.

I am so glad to hear this good news. When do we get the count down clock for Spring Training?
Posted by marythetribefan on Nov 5, 2009, 6:26pm
The AFL All Star game will be on The MLB Network Saturday night at 8 p.m. (eastern)!

Mary,

Did Drew pitch in the AFL All star game?

At the bottom of the article you will find a link to MLB.com which posts the box score. I couldn't find it on their web site.

It is a league where the top prospects in the game (usually from AA and AAA) from each team are chosen to play.

Here is a history: http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/events/winterleagues/about/?league=119&id=history

Drew looked so happy when they introduced the players at the beginning of the game. It was a tough loss, but he will overcome this and be better for it.

The game is being replayed RIGHT NOW on MLB Network - started at 4pm and is scheduled til7, so finish your supper and tune in - it's still the top of the first (it's 4:17 EST as I type this.)
