One thing the commisioner needs to change---but won't---is the late start of the World Series games each night. It is absurd that most of the nation is not even awake with many of these games end. Move up the starts to 7:00pm and 6:00pm on Saturday.

Sounds good to me you should be the commissioner!

MLB shortened the post season by one day. Good work Bud.

Hmmm. I read Bud Lite saying "I'll do whatever my FOX masters tell me to do."

Maybe we'll have another game suspended by rain, so kids can actually see the end of one of these games.

Cheers,

Rosie

Upon further review, MLB eliminated the off day between game 4 and 5 in the LCS. In return, they added a day off between the LDS and the LCS. Nothing shortened, so in all probability we'll be watching the World Series in November again.

At least two people were aware. When the story broke over the airwaves, it was erroneously reported that the schedule was shortened. After the written accounts hit the web, it was apparent that MLB was working their magic.

World Series will start Oct. 27. If there's a sweep, we could be done by Halloween! :-X

With no rain or snow, we could make it.

This scheduling is the way a friend described Daylight Savings Time: Take a blanket. Cut six inches off the top. Sew the six inches onto the bottom. Done! 8-)
