I have to agree David. For a moment last night, you had to wonder if baseball would go on and finish the season with the Cards eliminated. With Tony gone, the average time of games will go down.

I know I don't care for the ego of Tony LaRuss and love it when he is not there in an opposing dugout. This may just be me and not a correct characterization, but I'm so sick of announcers and the media making out like Cardinal fans are the only intelligent fans in baseball. It's like they have been programmed to tell us just how smart a Cardinals fan is and the rest of the fans lack knowledge in baseball.
OK, off my soapbox. But congrats to Torre and the Dodgers. |

Cards fans always seemed like cheerleaders to me. It doesn't take a ton of knowledge to wave pom poms.
Cheers,

I never had my manhood questioned over a stick of butter before. Now I know how a butterball feels on Thanksgiving.

Congratulations to the Angels and the Yankees for advancing to the next round. I will finish my box of Twinkies in memory of what might have been.
